David loves Grand Szechuan in Bloomington, MN. You can find this restaurant tucked away in a strip mall but don’t be deceived by its location- inside you’ll find a sprawling space with leather booths and updated decor.
Above is the Chengdu Spicy Dumplings, $5.00. I adore these dumplings. They were perfectly cooked and the flavor was spot on, especially topped with chili oil and sesame seeds. I would highly recommend these dumplings, especially for this price!
Above is the Fish Fillet with Pickled Vegetable, $13.00. This entrée may not look pretty but it was definitely tasty. Tender fish chunks with small pieces of chinese vegetables. We also got the Stir Fried Pea Tips, $12.00, which was a huge portion, but rightly so for $12.
Above is the Diced Fish with Chopped Dry Pepper, $13.00. This dish was very similar to the fish fillet with pickled vegetables, so in hindsight we should have ordered only 1 fish dish, 1 vegetable side and dumplings for 2 people. Grand Szechuan has some authentic, tasty Chinese dishes so if you’re in the area be sure to check it out.
