Victor’s 1959 Cafe is a pretty famous little cafe. Everyone loves it, especially after it was featured on Food Network. This little place will almost always have a wait for inside or outside seating so be prepared to wait or if coming for dinner, make reservations!
Paige ordered the Mango Waffle (topped with whipped cream, sliced mango fruit & sprinkled with cinnamon, $6.25) and side of Yuca Frita con Mojo (steamed, then fried & served with our garlic & lime juice mojo with lightly sautéed onions, $6.25)
I got the Picadillo (sauteed ground beef with green & red peppers, green olives, capers, and raisins finished in creole sauce. Served with rice, black beans & sweet plantains. As seen on the food network! $9.25). The food is solid and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. If it’s warm out, take advantage of their outdoor patio!
