Kristen, Paige and I dined at Kiku Bistro thanks to a groupon deal. Kiku Bistro, formerly Mt. Fuji is located on Hennepin, a block or two away from the “heart of uptown.” We were happily surprised at the clean, sleek interior. Kiku Bistro would be the perfect place for a group of 4 for happy hour. The bar area was inviting and the booths were huge and tucked away, making for a more quiet and private dining experience. Kiku Bistro revamped their name and the menu- expanding the dinner options. All of our food was solid but the happy hour menu really stood out the most. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, always welcome at a sushi restaurant.Gyoza (Pan-fried dumpling – Choice of pork, shrimp, or vegetable, $5.95).
Pad Thai (Thai style stir-fried thin rice noodles with eggs – Choice of Vegetable, Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp, $13.95).
